Owner and director Sebastian Lastrina has been a licensed funeral director for over 35 years and takes great pride in providing nothing but the best for you and your family.  Mr. Lastrina takes care of each funeral personally to ensure that your family receives the best care we can offer.  

On a personal note, Mr. Lastrina (or Sebby, as many people know him) comes from a family that has been in Middletown for four generations.  Many people may be familiar with the former Lastrina’s Bakery and Pizzeria on Union Street, owned by his grandparents.  Or you may know Mr. Lastrina’s other grandparents, the DeMelis’, a well-known family in Cromwell.  For this history, Mr. Lastrina is proud to be personal friends with many of the families who come to the funeral home.
